Pension Investments & SIPPs

A pension can be one of the biggest investments that you make in your life. By using an account manager from Capital Financial Markets, you are making an investment in your future as we help you get the most out of your pension fund. Using a self invested personal pension (SIPP) to hold your pension means you can take advantage of Capital Financial Markets’ specialist and bespoke investment management for your pension. Capital Financial Markets advise on the best SIPP to use, can consolidate any individual workplace pensions into the SIPP and manage the portfolio day-to-day for you.

SIPPs offer a variety of advantages such as saving income tax, flexibility as to how the pension is paid and accessed once you retire and access to a much wider choice of investments than traditional pension providers where you may be in a giant fund that does not perform and does not suit how you want to invest.

Our account managers are highly experienced in managing pension investments. Call us now to make an appointment for forward thinking pension investments.

SIPPs give you the opportunity to control your pension.

Pensions are a long term investment and the capital as well as the income in retirement can go down as well as up. You may not get back the initial amount invested. Pensions legislation including tax legislation can and may change in the future.

Individual Savings Accounts (ISA)

An Individual Savings Account (ISA) is a way to allow you to save where any capital gains or dividend income received are free of tax. They are ideal to use alongside a SIPP to save for retirement.

Our investment managers can advise and recommend the most appropriate ISA for you to allow you to start saving tax free.

Each UK adult has an allowance to save up to £20,000 per year into an ISA. This can be paid in a lump sum or instalments by setting up a standing order with us.

Over time it is possible to build up a significant sum, even by simply adding to the ISA each month.

Our recommended Stocks and Shares ISA is very flexible allowing you to hold a wide variety of investments. In fact they can hold any stock or fund that is listed on a recognised investment exchange. Should you have investments outside of an ISA, Capital Financial Markets can also manage the process of moving those investments into the ISA each year.

Investments can go down as well as up, you might not get back the original capital invested.

Investing for Children

Capital Financial Markets offer a Junior ISA (JISA) wrapper for under 18s. These very flexible ISAs can hold any listed stock or fund and are a great way of saving for a child’s university or house deposit.

Rule changes in 2019 mean that it is now possible to pay up to £9000 per year into a JISA.

Grandparents can directly contribute to a JISA.

Contact us to open a JISA, to help your children or grandchildren prepare for the future.

Investments can go down as well as up, you might not get back the original capital invested.

General Investment Account for Stocks and Share Investing

Capital Financial Markets operates a general stocks and shares account which can operate alongside any SIPP or ISA.

Many clients hold investments outside of their retirement products. Our general investment account (GIA) can be used to hold portfolios of shares from any listed stock exchange. It may be that you want a separate portfolio to your SIPP or ISA or perhaps have inherited some shares. Our managers can design and manage portfolios with specific strategies or requirements.

Investments can go down as well as up, you might not get back the original capital invested.
